ok so there's this specialized test that my mom wants me to take, i've been studying for that test since january...08, i think. i've been taking prep classes for it since then, but that time...i wasn't really interested in getting into those top schools. so i didn't really try my hardest or show any interests.

ok so on july and august[summer vacation]....mostly august, i started to study for that test. this time, i tried my best. i studied almost everyday and up till now, im still studying...and im taking Prep classes every morning in my school, i haven't missed one class. im studying right now! ...lol so yeah

my mom told me before, maybe last week that if i don't get into any of the specialized schools, the next 4 years of my life, will be the Worst 4 yrz of my life! WTF? i mean i know i didn't try earlier this yr...but NOW I AM! shytt if i don't make it atleast i tried....but she still says that she kept on reminding before...i mean but still!

Being in the system myself, what this says to me is that she already has a case qualify for much extra help anyway (again, this is based on my own experiences)

Did your mom go to a specialized school?
If not, it's possible that she's using you to live her dream.
Tell her that it's probably better to go to a normal school and do well, than a specialized school and do poorly

Ignore her. If you let the stress get to you, you won't do well. Just keep studying and do the absolute best you can. Don't worry about her. Do it for YOU, not because she wants you to.
