Yes. There is a whole nation (Maldives) that is looking for a new piece of land to move to because they fear their entire country will soon be under water (see article at the bottom). And that is just the beginning of how rising sea levels will affect the world in frightening ways.
I believe it can be reversed, yes. It will take time and a lot of effort though, and commitment.
Yes. I believe it has contributed to health problems the extent of which we will find out in the future. It has also killed off like forms which may have been to medicinal help to humans, among other things.
Perhaps 5%-10%? There may be more who don't understand it, but that is the number who reject the phenomenon.
