OKay. so here's the problem.
this weekend my volleyball team had a camp for little kids....and we had to help out (we have had to do this for like the past 5 weeks and i had been to every other one)
anyway, i couldnt make it so i texted my coach that i couldnt....he didnt respond. there are 2 coaches that are head of this but i only texted one....

apparantly, everyone who didnt go to that kids camp is not allowed to go on this sepcial 2-day trip that the coaches were planning that involved traveling away, staying at a hotel overnight and swimming and shopping.

I am the only one out of like 35 girls who didnt go...

therefor, i cant go and will be left out of a weekend of fun. other girls couldnt go to the past little kids camps....but the week i cant make it, they have to plan something big....

also, people were telling me that i shouldnt have texted only one coach....maybe then i could have gone...(the coach i texted didnt go....so no one knew where i was)

i made a huge mistake and now i am paying for it!

what should i do? just sit and be left out? or what....

It would have been wise to text BOTH coaches, but since you didn't here's what I would do.

PROTEST THIS DECISION! Unless there was a rule that said you had to call or text both coaches if you were going to be absent, then texting one coach should have been acceptable. That coach should have told the other coach even if he was not at the camp either.

Plus, since there are other girls who missed a weekend of kids camp prior to your missing a weekend, I would scream discrimination. Either everyone who missed a weekend camp goes or doesn't go. It cannot be both. It has to be one or the other.
