Normally I'd avoid buying overseas because I'd have to import them into Malaysia where I live. Apart from the exhorbitant shipping, the tax levied by Malaysian customs is usually a bomb.

I am now in Mexico on a business trip, and seeing it's only across the border from the States I am thinking of buying a particular pair of shoes on eBay. The item is about USD 60 and ships via FedEx to Mexico for about USD 35.
Question - what is the tax that will be levied by Mexican customs for this purchase? Does anyone know?
