im a muslim or u can say momedan i m confused what to do. i love my country but also my religion. i will follow my religion. but what do you gyes think about it.

I am so sick of those Islamic radicals. The only reason why they are doing this is because they want to unite the entire world under Islam and are using the Muslim religion as an excuse to carry out these attacks. These radicals aren't carrying out these attacks for any noble reason. They just want power.

United States, Spain, England, Indonesia, Israel, and now India has gone through these terrorist attacks. I hope there won't be anymore.

That being said...my prayers go with the city of Mumbai and those who lost loved ones. Nobody, besides the terrorists, deserved to die.

I think it was just the first act... there's more to come of that I'm sure. My question is now what??? What will be the next "test" for Obama.This could possibly be what Biden was babbling about.

Sadly what happened is due to Islam, misinterpretted or not-MILLIONS worldwide adhere to this "version" of Islam... there are many many many accounts of violence in the name of "allah" globally-Bali, 9/11 here in US, London, Beslan Russia... the violence is worldwide and is spreading. We all have to make a choice-come to terms with this reality or bury our heads in the sand.

Its time to tighten our belt and be more vigilant, have better infrastructure and dedicated departments in the government for fighting terror and terrorism activities inside our soil.

U being a muslim and an Indian has nothing to do with terrorism. You yourself say that you love your country, so why not try to keep it safe ? Islam never teaches to kill others and propagate terror, does it ? No good religion supports terrorism.

Its for people like anishranj and his vindictive attitude and seperative mentality about Hindu Indian's and Muslim Indian's and the childish attitude of blaming pakistan for anything wrong that happens to India, we are more sufferers than what we should be..

Its time to look inside for a change, change of mentality, attitude and government policies, and not just blindly start pointing fingers then forget it after some time..

You say that you are a Muslim.If so,have you and others of your faith realized and understood the magnitude and ferocity of backlash of such terror attacks?Has your clergy finally come to realize that by keeping quite on terrorism,they are exposing Muslims to much graver dangers?I doubt it.With government failure and the majority losing their patience,I think,Muslims are likely to face serious problems in the days to come.

I'm not sure what country your in. You can love your country and pursue your religion and not agree with your governments policies.

It's disgusting and horrible! Everyone is getting shot and bombed and it's so scary. People are being held hostage and have gone missing. I live in Chennai, which luckily isn't too close but I have a lot of friends in Mumbai whose parents work for the American and British Embassies, I haven't been able to talk to them yet but I hope they are all ok! Do you live in Mumbai also? I hope you are alright.
But as far as the religion thing goes, I think you should know this-
Religious groups who bomb countries and shoot everyone and then call themselves "Muslims" are not really Muslims, because the Islamic religion, like all other religions is a peaceful one, the Koran does not tell them to go kill all of the white people of the world. But other people don't get this and think Islam is a corrupt religion and all Muslims are terrorists, it's horrible. So when you say you "I love my religion. I will follow my religion." I hope you are not naive enough to think that by not supporting these terrorist, you are not a good Muslim, because it is actually the other way around. I can do nothing to comfort you or clear up your thoughts on "what to do" but I will leave you with this: be safe and be truthful to yourself and your religion. No violence! Peace is the only way to go.

I know this might seem "touchy," but I have a close group of Indian friends, a few who are currently living through this in Mumbai right now, and it is considered culturally insensitive to refer to the city as "Bombay."

Bombay was the name given to the city when it was under British rule--the name was changed to give the people a new beginning when they established their own democracy. Calling the city Bombay is considered somewhat offensive. (I'm sure you didn't mean it that way--I was taught that by my friends while I was in Mumbai--just wanted to pass it along!)

Now, to your question, please remember that your religion is one of peace. Anyone who wages war in the name of religion is a hypocrite. My religion, Christianity, and yours are both based on love and forgiveness. Those who cause disorder and violence in the names of these religions are true hypocrites and are doing so for their own reasons--usually political or financial gain--not religious ones.

terrorist has nothing to do with hindu or muslim it is just the game plan of the politician's who want to secure vote for the coming election's.
