Has anyone heard about IE8 updated into your computer has been causing major problems where people have had to have there computer fixed. That your update setting should be changed from automactic to where you are asked if you want to updated and you should refuse to update IE8. Aug 24, 2009 This is not a Blackboard problem but an IE8 security problem. It's really a terribly worded question by Microsoft and they should be ashamed of that. If I find better workarounds I'll update this post.
