Hi
I was wondering if anybody could read what this painting says.
I know this isnt a great pic of it, just thought maybe somebody knew it.
I would really like to find out the title more importantly.

Thank you :)
It doesn't have the look of any old paintings I've seen. It looks like the skeleton was a new look added to an old painting? I hope someone will know if it's an original old painting or a newer copy.

Even with photo shop , the writings to small and poor quality to make out. Maybe someone will recognise it? I'll leave the pic up till the weekend for people to check it out. I'm not knowledgeable about ukiyoe but found it:
http://www.artcyclopedia.com/artists/detail/Detail_kuniyoshi_utagawa.html
Title: 相馬の古内裏(そうまのふるだいり)
Artist: 歌川国芳(うたがわくによし)
Please note that the Japanese and English title of works such as these do not match, as many ukiyoe portrayals of plays and tales are named after the title of the play/tale, rather than a description of the painting/print.
Always good to be able to learn new things. I would have bet the painting was a new one, not an old original. Thanks for the link!

Yeah, those wrtings are very blurry, and I couldn't read them even when zoomed in, but what a freaky painting!
It's kind of cool, though.
