The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is working with a wide variety of public and private sector organizations to educate the public about the importance of family emergency preparedness. Throughout the summer and fall, these organizations will provide information, host events and sponsor activities that disseminate emergency preparedness messages to their customers, members, employees, stakeholders and communities across the nation.
