I would like to hear about some places where people first met their spouses or SO's. Any unusual places?
We met in the Army...we were in AIT together in the same platoon and we were both squad leaders.
We stood next to each other every day in every formation and trained for four months together.

It wasn't an interesting place. I knew of him at work. We actually met at our company Lagoon party, and friend (drunk) had called him over to our table and told him "hey she likes you and wants to ride the rides with you" well we met, walked around the lagoon together for a while, but that was about it. I was there with an ex and I had to go find him before he found me. Anyway, my hubby got my # and we have been together for 15 years and married for 11.

I met my hubby online 3 years ago, and we didnt meet face to face for 2 1/2 years, and we are married now, over a year, and we get along wonderfully, he and I waited a long time to find the right one, and we did.

I went to hang out at a local spot where import peeps meet up to talk about their cars or show off their new stuff. She was there. I noticed she kept looking at me and she came over to me, introduced herself, then walked off and talked to other guys. I asked my brother what was up with her and he said that she liked me. I was working at Taco Bell at the time and evidently she came through one night with her boyfriend (at the time) and she thought I was cute. She was friends with my brother and told my brother she thought I was cute. So, my brother told me some people wanted to meet me and to go to 'the spot' on Saturday. So, I showed up. She saw me, we talked.. then the conversation with my brother started. I felt kind of shaded you know cuz she talked to me then walked off to talk to other people.. So, the next weekend I showed up at the spot again, she was there, wearing an all-white outfit and she came up to me. She told me she bought the outfit to match my car, I drove a white Civic with a bodykit, white wheels, white halos, etc. She asked me to take her for a ride.. So, I did. She's been in my passenger seat for the last 4 years. That's my baby girl.
