Global Warming, climate change facts, articles:: Feb 5, 2007 Global Warming, as we think we know it, doesn't exist. And I am not the only one trying to make people open up their eyes and see the truth. http://www.canadafreepress.com/2007/global-warming020507.htmHOME | Is it through reason, emotion or your senses.
If you don't think that global warming exists why not?
please elaborate your answers if you will...
glacier melt, ice shelf melt, artic sea ice melt confirm that more heat is staying around on earth.
human temperature data may have error, but the heat of fusion does not lie and ice is natures thermometer.
Educate yourself.
The AWG myth has ended.

It's so warm - oh wait a minute....

Its fake stuff and people are trying to make computer programs

same numbers the result will come out different every time.
Al Gore also said " A Zebra wont lose its spots"
We make so many air pollution that traps in heat and the sun raise cant escape and just keeps on warming the earth and the glaciers start to melt and that is global warming
No, i think smog, the depletion of the ozone layer and the increasingly bad storms and warmer climates are all made up cuz im a dumbass
The warmest year was 1998 recently, and since then the earth has been less warm. In fact the climate where I am has cooled considerably and summers feel more like spring or fall. It tends to snow here earlier in the season now, and it stays longer. The hype and politics behind the AGW movement are the only reason some people believe in it.
welll...i personally think its being made up im trying 2 get answers from that question but ya ice caps and glaciers are warming up and making sea levl higher wich isnt very good 4 our invirment but i mean isnt that just part of life and the cycle...?
plenty of reasons point to global warming.
the melting of the ice caps
the strange weather we are having everywhere
and pine needle beetles eating up the pine trees in the rockies
the unrenewable oil being extracted from the earth
and also the trash that is not being recycled is polluting the air
I don't believe we're in a warming trend for the forseeable future and we may in fact be heading for much cooler temps lasting for decades or longer. If you only look at NASA GISS data you will find all the data you need to be a true believer in global warming. The problem is that that data has been manipulated like bread dough being kneaded, usually with no explanation given and the raw data kept from view. Most of the monitoring stations in the US violate NOAA guidelines and are placed so close to artificial heat sources that they give temp readings 2-5C too high and we're not sure that GISS accounts for this adequately. If you look at Hadley data the picture is different enough to question if there has been much warming after all and if there has been any since 1998.
In the geologic past Earth has seen CO2 levels 20 times higher than they are today and temp was only 8C higher than today. That a big increase but not necessarily fatal since uneducated animals alive at the time managed to survive and they had no A/C. It was 10 times higher during a past ice age so the link between CO2 and temp seems pretty tenuous. It makes up only .04% of our atmosphere and blocks only 3 bandwidths in the infrared, yet they claim it has led to the warmest temps in a million years. That's patently false since most records show it was warmer just 1,000 years ago during the Medieval Warm Period.
Another reason to question everything they claim is that they have tried very hard to deny that the Medieval Warm Period or the Little Ice Age that followed should count. Claiming they were localized and not global events is ridiculous since there is no such thing as a global climate in the first place, Earth's climate is so complex it's considered to be chaotic. When they start out by revising history you should wonder why.
What happens when all possible infrared has already been blocked by the CO2 in the atmosphere? We don't have an endless supply, most of it comes from our sun and we're told it's no more active than usual. So how can temp continue to rise due to CO2 when all the infrared that it can effect has already been trapped? It can't, which is why CO2 has never led warming, it follows it. It was cooling after 1945 when CO2 was skyrocketing which should not be possible. It is now cooling again, despite rising CO2 levels.
The big tragedy is that most sensible people would like to migrate from fossil fuels to renewables, but we'd rather wait until we have the technology to do so rather than immediately shut down factories and power plants. The scare tactics are good for scaring children if that's what you enjoy, but I find them unconvincing.
I await a long list of all the organizations, politicians, celebrities and scientists who are on the global warming bandwagon, but they've all been wrong before, there is still no consensus despite their claims, and as far as I know noone is fallible. It wasn't that long ago that Chaos Theory was nearly universally derided and mocked.
The Vostok station ice core data shows many warming and cooling cycles over the last 400,000 years. This cycle is almost to the peak unless man's pollution can affect how high the peak gets. We will see.
Remember, Nature is very powerful. Nature has no conscience. Nature kills without regard to sex, age, religion, etc. Many thousands of species came and went long before mankind had any effect.
My senses. Not too far from my home is the Colombia Icefield. I first saw it in 1976 when it was a short walk from the highway. Since then it has retreated so far that you need to take a bus to get to it.
because that's what all the honest science says.
NAS, NOAA, NSF, NASA, EPA, MIT, UCLA all agree. AGW (Anthropogenic Global Warming) is a serious problem.

I know man made global warming exists because I work for a very specialized temperature imaging company and I have seen it. Did you know that academia of the world is blind to temperature even though temperature relates to everything in existence? Hard to imagine the sciences of the world being blind to temperature but it is the reality.
My professional background includes building design/construction and engineering. I also have a background in electrical energy provision. Temperature considerations are critical regarding buildings and their emissions, we are taught to complete all of the temperature considerations with a calculator. Calculators are only accurate if the inputted data is correct.
All of the building and environmental laws are in place, it is illegal to pollute the environment. Codes and laws ensure development is sustainable except compliance is calculated but never verified.
Global warming by man simply means there has to be a source of heat atmospherically. You can't heat anything without a source of heat.
The Greenhouse Gas Theory (GHG) exists because every professional assumes every other professional is doing their job. Policy is developed based on the science except no one knew the sciences are blind to temperature.
I am a qualified expert and I am going to share information that contradicted my own education. Go to the following link and get to see temperature beyond your visible spectrum. You will get to see the effects of solar radiation and that we are generating EXTREME heat on the surface of the planet. Due to the fact it couldn't be seen, we are reacting to the symptoms with more emissions, oil dependency, wasted resources, massive electrical waste, acid rain, toxic babies, etc.
Go to the link and keep it simple. If development is warmer than outdoor temperatures, then the development is heating the atmosphere.
Heating the atmosphere changes the weather formula. Some places are drier, cooler, wetter, snow, etc, it is about weather changes from the heat contribution. We are generating extreme heat on the surface of the planet, it just couldn't be qualified before.
This information is lectured internationally and the images are incredibly educational. It is something to see the true effect of the shade of a tree. http://www.thermoguy.com/globalwarming-h...
Great question! I don't know for sure if we can prove it's happening or if this is just a stage of a naturally occuring Ice Age. The most recent ice age peaked, in its Last Glacial Maximum about 20,000 years ago.
Is this still melting from that period?
I'm sure pollution is causing a greenhouse effect to some degree and we should try to improve on that.
I also wonder if extracting oil from the earth impacts that. Like removing an insulator. If you put two teflon pans on the stovetop, one with oil one without and turn the heat up, the empty pan smokes and eventually burns the teflon off. The oil filled pan will not.
Without the insulation the crust of the earth could be heating up more.
Again, great question
Funny you should ask on the same day that Einstein's theory of relativity was finally proven. It took over 100 years. By the time Global Warming is proven we will all be dead.
Can a theory be proven if there is nobody around to recognize it?
Pretty simple - I look at the global temperature data compiled by NASA and other groups. The global temperature has steadily increased, which by definition is global warming.
Its colder here this month than in the past 10 years, and it's been historically the coldest 12 months in more than 20
