We don't actually know that global warming exists. It's just a theory. I can tell you why it exists, if it does. Because of pollution, and too much carbon dioxide, rays from the sun get trapped in earth's atmosphere. They "bounce" off the earth and the atmosphere. To give an example, when you leave your car in the sun for a long time, when you return, it's very hot. This is because the sun's rays enter the car, and because of the type of glass, the heat is trapped and bounces off the glass again and again.

20 years ago it was Global cooling. We as human beings are so egotistical in thinking we can destroy the earth. Laughable. The climate just changes. The Sahara desert was once a fertile valley before it was a desert, and what happened? The climate changed.
I could site tons of organizations who disagree, Geologists and Meteorologists who disagree with the whole Global warming hoax, but I would rather you find out on your own.
We as humans contribute only 3 percent to all C02 emissions, and When Co2 rises, temperature does not rise, rather the other way around.
Bottom line, it's ALARMISM. Every generation has their own form of alarmism. They want a cause, we wish to feel like we really ARE in control. Well, we're not, the Earth is 40 times more powerful then we are, and we have 3 times as many trees then we did in 1940. We are not in control, we are still FAR to small.

I recommend that you study the literature on both sides of the issue.

The IPCC reports are good to give you the side of the people who want to convince you that Global Warming is an immediate and "dire threat" which will require that you surrender a large part of your liberty and your finances to the government if the "dire threat" of Global Warming
is to be stopped.

If you will look at today's news headlines, you will see a story regarding Climate Change.

The government is out of money, every week they are taking time and resources getting with global agencies, getting States, Cities and Agricultural areas on-board to address greenhouse gases.

If you take Global Warming by itself it doesn't really fulfill the argument that rages like a California Wild Fire. Perhaps this is the intent by those who screech and scowl, spreading propaganda that Global Warming is a myth.

Every week the E.P.A. is calling meetings to all the State Environmental agencies, and giving facts as information that Climate Change with the increase Global Warning is going to be a global nightmare. The first concern and focus is on Human Health. This is true; check it out for yourself, it is public information, probably on the web.

Search: Climate Change, Scientific data, greenhouse, ozone, atmospheric cyclones, forest fire. Change the words around in your search and even include say 2008, or Kyoto. G8. This is real scientists who are in a room full of people who are stressed.

The problem is dire. It is not a political ploy. This is the same propaganda those who in the 1970's fought to get lead taken out of gasoline, because the particulate matter of lead is so large, it made big cities in the late 60's , early '70's have dark grey skies.

Automobile makers and petroleum processors and providers called us every name in the book including liars. They said the movement was trying to destroy their businesses and make it imposssible for them to make a profit. Hmmm.

I don't know if it exist or not and I am not going to lose any sleep over the climate of our planet which is not in our control. I do know that I teach my children about the environment, that oil companies are not evil, that logging is good for the forest and most environmentalist do not care about the environment at all.

We are clearly not as warm as much of the last 10,000 years. So in the longer run there� �s nothing unusual about our current temperature. It� �s only unusual if... you expect it to stay the same AND you measure your � �normal� � position in a cooler period.

We may not ever know. Theres a chance that the earth is just going back to how it was BEFORE the ice caps were formed , back to how it originally was. Now, there is a chance that this is happening because of US, and because we have a blatant disregard of caring for the planet and the sensitivity of the O-Zone. But, its could also be a natural occurance. The o-zone could just be wearing down. After all...this planet is billions of years old. So I guess its just a belief thing, but as far as my opinion goes I think that it would be a good idea to go green, just in case. And 'cause our planet isnt the only thing suffering. Peoples health is suffering from more then just the global warming, the pollution we create gets all up in our lungs and its nasty. So going green could be good.

there is no way to actually prove that global warming exists although many scientific data seem to be saying that it does. however, there are also many scientific data that says that it doesn't at all.

execpt increasing the temperature.... I ever watched in discovery n NG channel the ice area mapping via satelite. Its change area periodly to decrease. thats make raise sea level, so it tranferred the beach lines more into the land. There are also some changes in flora n fauna will be find related to global warming issue

Quite simply, global warming is the long-term increase in the average global temperature. We have temperature monitoring stations all over the planet and also satellites measuring the planet's temperature. As you can see in the link below, the temperature is increasing. That by definition is global warming.

Because the earth's temperature has gone up and down for millions of years and just because humans appeared doesn't mean it's going to stop.
