To award the best answer to a question, simply wait at least four hours. You should then return to the question via your Yahoo! Answers profile, and the option to select the best answer shall be present as a button under each answer.
When does the option to select a best answer end ?
By default, the author of a question has three days in which to return to select the best answer. This can however be extended to a week by clicking the pencil (edit) option beneath the question and selecting extend expiration.

all you have to do is go to the top of the page and click on the tap that says Vote.choose any question.then you'll see a button that said Vote As Best Answer click it and you have voted.you'll get 1 point for voting.

four hours after you ask your question, if you go to your question, a little 'select as best answer' button appears by each answer. any time between then & when the question expires, click on the one you like best

Go to your profile (click on your name in your Avatar box to get you there). Once there you will see the list of answers you gave and a tab next to it; My Questions. Click on that. They have to be 4 hours old, but you can just look at one and see how old it is. Click on a 4-hour-old question and you'll see a blue bubble, Choose as Best Answer. Click on that bubble under the answer you like best and take it from there!
After you answer read the person's answer, underneath it should say 'Choose as best answer'
You can only do that if its your question tho
you have to wait a few hours then you can do it.
by selecting 'best answer' fill out the comment card and rate the answer.
