They've ripped up all their clothes in the past and it is hard to buy more because they are really big labrador retreivers and clothes don't normally come in their size.
They also LOVE to play with each other. Sometimes the clothes bother them and they end up taking it off and tearing it into shreds...
I just think they need to get use to it, but i'm afraid to leave them alone with it on.
For those who help: Thank You!
they need to get used to it is all same with my yorkie
To be honest, they will just continue to rip them off. Enjoy the short time they have them on. Take pictures and stuff, only leave it on for like 10+ minutes max! I know it stinks, my PitBull does the same thing lol :D Stuff On My Cat - Stuff + Cats:: Every penny raised helps to keep SOMC in existence! Put the cute clothes on them, take a very quick picture of them, or more than one if you have time. Hurry and take the clothes off of them, unless you want them torn or shredded. . It's obvious that your dogs are not interested in wearing clothing and are bothered by it. I wouldnt push the issue.
I would suggest getting them a cute birthday themed bandana instead. See if they tolerate wearing a bandana.
You may love all the cute clothes, but obviously your dogs dont. Let them be dogs and dont try and force them to do something they dont want to do or need.
Ugh. Seriously? Obviously they don't enjoy the clothes and it makes them feel uncomfortable. Forget about how cute they look, think of their feelings. Don't get any.
don't put clothes on them
by not putting clothes on them. its just cruel. they dont like it at all
if they don't like it then don't make them wear it... my dog at first wasn't crazy about shirts and bandannas, but i slowly got her used to them, just by letting her wear them for like 5 minutes and slowly building the time up until she got used to them. i mean, she's a pit and doesn't wear clothes very often, just on football game days... and now she gets excited when she gets a new shirt... but seriously, if your dogs don't like them then don't force it upon them.
