You can practice by poking yourself with a needle over and over in the same spot. Thats pretty much what it feels like. There isn't really any way you can really prepare for it. You just do it. it feels like a electric shock. It wont feel that bad until they start doing the shading and the coloring in. Even them it's not that bad it also depends where you get it. For your first time I would pick someplace with alot of meat.
i hate pain and I had one done on my lower back. It wasn't bad at all. Nothing like i was expecting it to be. Don't worry you don't cry or anything like that. It kind of feels like someone is rubbing something hard over the same spot and it is irritating.
