I have curly hair and I hate it and straighten it every day but the rain or wind always makes it curly again. I have used heaps of hair products but none have worked properly. What can I do?
I have poke straight hair so I don't have to straighten my hair but I do get frizzy when its humid. I use leave in conditioner and soy bean serum. It really helps.
You'd be a much happier person if you make your frizz work for you, instead. I will not comb over my "elevated" forehead and I loved seeing my lady's poofy fine wool, with or without hats or accessories. It was a change inside her head that turned me off, not her hair.
Just like you, this happens to me all the time. Though I do have to say, since you say you straighten your hair every day some of the frizz can be caused just because you're doing it EVERY day and damaging your hair so bad (which is why mine poofs and frizzes a lot worse)
If this is the case, what you should start doing is like once a week or once every two weeks start deep conditioning your hair. There are many products you can easily find at walmart or cvs or any place that have them but they're about 3-6 for just one treatment. An easy and cheaper way to deep condition your hair to make it healthier is take a shower at night or whenever you don't plan to go out, do your normal routine. Then when you get out, towel dry your hair, after you towel dry it you want it a little damp, take your conditioner and put it all in your hair in every spot, then either tye it up for the night or leave it down, the next morning when you wake up wash it out, and your hair will feel so much healthier. (And even if you DON'T straighten your hair everyday, if you only do it once a week, still do this cause a straightener is so bad)
And if your hair is healthy and is just stubborn like mine sometimes is, I use hair serum (it normally comes in a lot of brands in a clear bottle with clear looking substance inside) it says to put it on when your hair is soaking wet but what I do is I put it on right after I straighten my hair, it knocks down all those frizzes, and then I spray a think layer of hairspray all over it.
Hope this helps!
go to the hairdressers they should give you a good product
Mine is like that as well, I put a thin layer of mouse in my hair when it is still wet.
Then blow dry and straighten.
It usually stays flat for me unless it is super humid outside
I have naturally curly hair (UUGG) and I straighten it every now and then and when I do ...after i have straightened it I spray it with extra hold hair spray lightly and rub my hands down my hair. Also the hair dresser gave me this hemp spray its like and oily type spray that helps to keep the heat from damaging the hair and I spray it very lightly with that......it helps to keep it smooth. Hope this all helps you.
Basically, the only thing you can do is just look out for some good treatments. You can get shampoo, conditioners and hair treatments specifically for the problem you have. Also, ask help from your hairdresser, they should come up with some good ideas.
Hope I've helped! =)
Less is more when it comes to product. Start with a shampoo designed too smooth hair like Redken's Smooth Down shampoo and conditioner. Then pat your hair dry, don't rub it with a towel, this causes frizz! Next apply a product before like Redken's Align 12 ultra straight balm add an anti-frizz serum like Redken's Outshine 01 Frizz Polishing Milk, mix them together and distribute throughout your hair. Blow dry as usual and straighten. When you're finished combat any frizz with a finishing serum like Redken's Smooth Down Sleek Obedience Anti-Frizz Solid Serum. Complete with a quick all over hairspray if you'd like. This should improve your chances of maintain your straight hair throughout the day.
