Yeah, it's not as if either have ever happened in Earth's history or anything...
Why do so many people think the Earth is immune from disaster just because we're on it?
Or are you one of those who believe there's no such thing as past ice ages or warming periods, because you believe the Earth is only 5000 years old?
Whatever happens, it is America's fault. We are driving our SUVs and using up all the wealth and energy on earth. (That was sarcasm in case someone thought I was serious)

Dawei states that an ice age has never happened in Earth's history- mate that is the only bit that CAN be proven. So far, all the spin about ice ages or global warming for the future is merely speculative crap being shouted from the street corners by arseholes like Al Gore who's only concern is how much money he can rip off from the many tiers of morons who believe him!
I prefer the global warming lie because it will extend the beach season, reduce car insurance (no icy roads), the growing season will be extended so more food can be grown to feed the hungry, the Easter Bunny can get around easier and women will wear summer clothes year round.

It's not a lie, it's an unproven theory. there are a lot of lies and gross exaggerations being spun to try to support the theory but the theory itself isn't technically a "lie" - we don't know for a fact that it's not true.

The media's out to make headlines and sell papers or get more viewers. They'll scream whatever it takes to get their way. Global warming, ice age...climate change. People have short memories and will change their minds over and over again depending on which is the latest catastrophe to follow. Money flows freely as if it will somehow make a difference.
Which do I prefer? It makes no difference...we're apparently in the process of destroying our planet one way or another and will either burn or freeze to death in something like 20 years. It seems that fixing the 'problem' isn't going to happen until we all become socialists, give up our freedom and fork over as much money as possible to those who - we're told - have all the answers.
