i believe it is these youth who have the power to mitigate the forces set in motion by our industrialized societies. With the proper resources and guidance, the bureaucracy that currently hinders international climate policy will be avoided, and an opportunity to discover honest and efficient political solutions will ensue. With feasible intergovernmental ratifications made concerning global warming, domestic efforts will be far more efficient. Inspired and led by youth, our global community will solve the problem that has already inspired so much adversity around the world.

Children should be taught to conserve resources regardless of the results. I think scaring them about global warming at a young age is unnecessary and can rob them of their youth.

Of Course! The youth are one of the first steps to defeating Global Warming. They can educate their parents and do somethingabout it such as plant trees. They also need to be educated because in the future they will learn to be good and not be a causer of Global Warming. It will also teach young people to respect the environment and everything that it offers to them and not take the environment for granted. Teaching the kids can also make them be more responsible by caring for the planet.
Not if all you teach is AGW. This theory may or may not be the case. Natural global warming and cooling cycles are a fact.
Most kids are already being scared in our school system. It is silly for little kids to be worrying about these things.

I see you blame our "Industrialized Societies". I assume you have no car, no large home, no time saving devices, no electricity. If you do, then you have no right to complain. Population expansion is the root cause of all pollution and species extinction. What are you doing about this?
Yes, of course. However, kids need to be approached in a reasonably positive light, to avoid cynicism in youth (a crippling occurrence). They must be informed that dangerous environmental changes are under way, while stressing that hope exists...if we act sustainably. The younger the child, the more concrete the explanation, as kids aren't so good with concepts.
Why teach kids useless and untrue things in school? Global warming is just that, in fact if you took out the politics in it there'd be nothing left.
