Please help...
I need to create a form within front page. About 5-6 entry boxes.
In order for the end user to be able to complete it (once on the web) I'm told I have to create a CGI file. Front Page Hosting, Frontpage 2000, FrontPage 2000, Front Page :: The FP 2002 Server extensions are compatible with the FrontPage 2000, 2002, Once you have created all your form fields, right click within the form and http://www.thebook.com/frontpage.htmlHOME |
Is this correct. I would like the form totally independant on the web.
Please help...
Thanks
J
Hi guys...
Just wondering.
I only want a small form (2 - 3 boxes).
Would PHP be a better method?

with the link that i gave you, you can cut down on the number of the boxes, you need to edit the code, they have directions on that web page

thats a really good site, how this helps
for that boo!
..to my knowledge, php or cgi forms are needed to send mail. correct me if im wrong, cause I don't do forms and stuff in fp. but, if you dont want to code or anything, there are many different form processors out there, that are remotely hosted. search google, or the ones i know off the top of my head are.. response-o-matic.com , bravenet.com and hostedscripts.com. most can then redirect to a thank you page.
hope that was a help
