Hey what do you guys know about global warming i no how it started and what it is but i need soo effects and stuff its for a report
global warming is caused when pollutants are released into the atmosphere. They float up to the ozone which causes it to have holes and keeps most of the suns rays from getting out of the earths atmosphere. This causes the temperature to rise. When the temperature rises, the ice caps melt. If the ice caps melt, then the cold water will mix with the warm water. The freshwater will mix with the salt water. This will cause the atlantic current to stop in its tracks. The atlantic current provides heat to europe and north america. The atlantic current stopping could cause the temperature to decrease severely and cause the next ice age. Well if the climate does increase the polar icecaps will melt some and the sea level will rise which could be bad for low lying areas around coastal regions of countries - marine life could be destroyed - more storms cyclones - polar bears could become extinct - I totally can't remember anymore and I wrote a 1000 word essay on it 2 days ago - lol
its all an ecosystem thing. The ice is melting so the polar bears will have no where to go. Then they will become extinct than what ever eats the bear will die becuase they have nothing to eat. and its a total chain affect. Also the ozone layer is breaking and that is caused of air polution than the sun will melt the glaciers also that reflect some of the sun's harmfull rays.

effects? wow. first, the it goets hotter outside due to all the pollution. Since its getting hotter outside, the ice caps are melting up north and that will cause the atlantic ocean to flood and soon Florida will underwater. But thats just a rumor. I don't believe in global warming. I believe it is a climatic cycle just reaching a peak in overall average temperatures, that will eventually return to the normal cyclical path.
Are they really making you write a report on a theory?? Good luck with finding effects since it hasn't been proved to be fact yet.
