Is it a Science fiction project?
No one is really "fighting" global warming. However, there are plenty of people who push the agenda for their own personal needs mostly for financial gains. The number one guy that comes to mind is Al Gore. Basically any big government socialist is all about global warming because they can use it as an excuse to tax people more.
You do know that Global Warming is NOT man made? Global warming has been occurring on Earth for millions and millions of years without any assist from mankind!
Global Warming (Climate Change now since the experts predictions of the increase in warmth was inaccurate) is a normal cycle that the earth gos through from time to time! There are more polar bears today than 25 years ago, more trees today than 100 years ago and Antarctica has had bits and pieces fall off for 10,000 years - this is all normal!
Consider having opposing views on Global Warming and really freak out your teacher (because you are not supposed to think for yourself and consider other points of view!)

Just today, as seen on TV news - no appreciable increase in temperature since 1995! Snow and cold weather higher than average so far this year!
You aren't going to get anything. Noone has done anything to stop it. The best you could concievably get is people that helped educate people such as Michael Crichton, and Senator Imhofe or people that used it to push their agenda such as Al Gore and James Hansen of Nasa.

Oh fight global warming? That would be no one. No one has done anything to reduce solar heat. We've had a few people help to pollute ground water in a zeal to carbon dioxide emmissions despite that it has been proven that in very low density it doesn't help retain heat. We also have a few people that have increased pollution in the name of reducing carbon dioxide which can not possibly be a greenhouse gas because it's too heavy to float on air. They are all politicians and executives of large environmental organizations which engage in politics and they are all better forgotten.
