Outpost Alert dialogs need to have more info. When I get a dialog "The following app has requested an outbound connection" I would like to be able
to see the action that OP has taken (blocked/allowed) in that dialog box, rather than "Show History" and wait for the log viewer
to open before I can see what OP has done with that connection.
Also I need to see the description of the rule that has been activated on the alert window (please!) (once again without opening the log viewer).
Outpost should check when one process launches another, and ask if I want to allow it. I dont want a blanket rule, I would like to be able to specify this on a program by program basis, for each particular program.
Is there any way to specify only a portion of IP's when using the IP range option in LAN settings? If im correct, currently you have to start at x.x.x.1 and finish at x.x.x.255.
Is there any way in the "Application Rules" to configure rules for "NETBIOS" at the application level rather than system level? (Both would be great) That would give the best control. I personally really need that. I would like to be able to control the timeout for traffic entries that are removed from the Network Activity screen,
sometimes interesting entries disappear to quickly before Im finished reading them.
The ability in OP to set up "IP groups" would be handy.
A resizable LAN window, mine is chokkas full and its a pain to scroll and have such a tiny window to view.
Thanks for your consideration! :)
