I know it grabs the imdb address from the nfo file but can anything else be read? For example, if you don't have an internet connection can it pick up the title of the movie or anything else from the nfo if you put it in a certain format? I'm just wondering if I should bother including anything other than the imdb address in my nfo files.
it's in the manual...

not at present :)
Could you give an example of the content of this nfo file?
I just lost all my Video database references somehow...
Useful Freewares [Archive] - Digit Forum:: Avi screen classic is better , it can take videos too Cyberhawk does the work of antivirus, anti-spyware, and firewall programs. http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-25901.htmlHOME | Even though it only reads the imdb address, I've still been making mine with a little more information. They look like this:
Twelve Monkeys - cd1.nfo
Title: Twelve Monkeys
Year: 1995
Genre: Thriller
MPAA: R
IMDB: 8.0
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0114746/
So all the files I have for that movie are:
Twelve Monkeys - cd1.avi
Twelve Monkeys - cd2.avi
Twelve Monkeys - cd1.nfo
Twelve Monkeys - cd1.tbn (my custom thumbnail)
After reading that wiki page, I didn't realize you could just give the nfo file the first part of the stacked name. I guess since the thumbnails don't work unless you gave it the "- cd1" (part1/etc.) tag I assumed the nfo wouldn't either. Good to know... I doubt I'll go back and rename everything though. :)
