Hi, we just recently purchased a combo pack and registered as much of it as possible on-line. We appreciate being able to do this, however we were confused as to where the "serial" number was located on the tools - as the batteries seem to have only a partial number as apposed to the actual tools. Since we were unsure about this, we attempted to search the Rigid site to locate information as to where the serial number is located. Unfortunately we were unsuccessfull. The method I ended up using to be sure we were using the corrrect number, was searching Google. I did end up finding the information, but it was through as Rigid Service provider with a very informative pdf file.
