i installed the sims today with a couple of expansion packs and i also downloaded some objects today like new people and houses and objects, now i fully did my house and everything and i wanted to save when i clicked it the screen went black but the music n the cursor was still there. for about 9 seconds the error report message came up and said that it wasnt responding and had to close. so i tried again and the same thing happened. whats wrong and wat can i do to make sure the thing saves... also are there any patches that might help? You probably need to clarify some more. List the expansions you have first of all. Downloads can screw up your game as well. The Sims or The Sims 2? Rather big difference there. If you are using a custom item in the house, I'd say don't put it back in and try to save. If it still crashes, you know your problem lies elsewhere. Can't save MY Sims game? - Neoseeker Forums::

Probably an object or something caused a conflict with the game, can't be sure. Try removing all downloaded objects. If you can't get it to work, you could always uninstall/reinstall the game. The Sims 2: Amazon.ca: Computer and Video Games::
