Cos theyre good for me, Im in yr 12 and they seem to help, when I cant wind down for bed, they calm me and make me sleepy and very very drowzy, but theyre not as scary as the ones that knock you out.

However, I would suggest that rather that just hand you a pill, your mother should be trying to find out why you get that stressed, or you may develop dependency issues for life.
When I was pregnant my doctor told me to take half of a unisom(sleep-aid medication) for my severe morning sickness. It's didn't help me much for the morning sickness but it helped me relax and I'd sleep better and much longer. I fugure if it was ok for me to take while I was pregnant (medicine passes to baby) than it's ok for you take. Just take half though, a whole tablet will knock you out, lol.

2008 April: Chronic Migraine Pain::
I was so sedated/imbalanced I could barely stagger to the bathroom in the middle The first few doses make you feel dizzy. I don't notice anything now.
