they are there to simply teach so why do they have to begin digging and asking questions about their personal lives at home?
Its a legal thing. If you become so f*cked up and off yourself and a teacher knew something was up she could be sued by your family. they r just trying to cover their a$$
You've got to remember teachers are people too. I had a teacher a few years ago who was my biggest mentor, and I was so happy to have her in my life. Anyways, they do care and just want to make sure that their students are having good lives in and outside of school.
some teachers probably don't even realize how much they are doing it. Also maybe they are just trying to look out for you and to find out what's truely going on. If it is your language arts teacher, she could probably sencse something wrong through your writitng.
that's cuz teacher's have nothing else better to do lol
They are trying to help. In some states teachers are required to follow up on problems to be sure the student does not fall into the 'high risk' category.
Have a talk (calmly) with the teacher involved. You might be surprised at what you find.
