Because that question doesn't make any sense.
Your net pay is your gross pay minus your taxes.
Because it would be presumed to be adjusted gross income.
your Gross income is your total earnings before any ADJUSTMENT line 23 Thu 37 on your 1040 then come your deductions, exemptions, and then taxes Credits & withholding......
Look bottom line OBAMA will NOT increase your tax unless you make over $200,000 and it sounds like you DON'T so vote OBAMA I think you need a tax Break.

But any tax will be taken from your gross income.
because what you take home is your net.
If he taxes that than it is not your net anymore.
