Ok, first i put my name, address, phone numbers, then email. after that i put my work experience, (but i only worked as cashier for a few days at a grocery store), so i wrote the reason why i quit and what skill i got from working there. then i put my education, (what grade and school im in and what my last school was. then i put my language skills, because i'm bilingual, (i just wrote what languages i can speak). then i put personal details like my hobbies and what i want to be when im older (a clothing designer). Btw, i am applying at a small clothing store. Do you think this is a good resume, and is there anything missing, or anything i could add to make it better? You should put in a career objective which means what you are looking for - "a challenging, responsible position" or "work with a firm where advancement is based on merit and achievement" or something like that.

Never put why you left a previous job. If they like your resume they will call you for an interview and you can discuss it then.

Put your name, address, phone and e-mail at the top, in the center of the page
-You have to put your objective (desired position)
-Your education (school name, city, state and dates you have been attending) don't put down your grade)
-Job (Name of the store, Your position, dates you worked) Don't put down the reason you quit. If the people are interested they will ask you and BE HONEST.
-Skills such as Data Entry, Handling Cash Register
-Languages
* I will suggest not putting down your hobbies or your future plans, as for hobbies they might just ask you. As your future plans, they might not hire you..they might think that he is interested in clothing designer and they might not want that but if they ask DO TELL.
Also, Put down References (Name and Number) at the bottom. People who know you best (Not your relatives). But talk to the people before you are going to put them down so you will know if they have anything good to say about you. I will suggest putting down teachers.
After you are done making your resume.. show it to you teachers or your parents they might give you an insight about how it looks such as professional or elegant.
Try practicing the interview with someone.
