Which suburb of Indianapolis is the best...Carmel, Fishers, Zionsville, Noblesville or Westport? Why? ? | | Published by: anonym 2009-01-07 |
| | We are moving to the north side of Indy. Safety and Good schools are very important to us. We want a family friendly area as well. Which suburb would you recommend and why? Definitely Noblesville or Fishers. I personally love the historic downtown Noblesville and it has many attractions such as lakes and shopping. Fishers is also great with a new school and many shopping complexes. No matter what you go for, you'll win.
Zionsville is nice and has some areas now that are not overly price. Carmel is very snobby and starting to have its share of crime issues.
My husband and I are looking into Fishers due to a respected school system, and it looks as if they are building more things to make it easy for commute (downtown). I think it would be a great town to raise a family.
Carmel's cost of living is very high, and most of the people I've met from there have been very snotty. If that's what you're looking for then I suggest Carmel.
