Our decks have become an extension of our homes. No longer are they just the deck. Rather they are more like another room. We entertain there a great deal of the time and thats why you want to choose a trendy deck table!

Remember those ugly old round plastic tables complete with umbrella and sometimes even four ugly chairs. It seems everyone had one. And that might have been because there really werent a lot of choices back then. And when we say back then we are only talking five or six years ago.

The first thing you need to do is measure up your useable space. Your deck size and your useable space size are two different things with plants and deck storage and everything else that seems to land on the deck.

Figure out where you want to put your table and how much seating you want to have. You need to leave at least three feet for the chair depth. How many you want to sit will determine how big of a table you are looking at.

Youll also need to make sure your dream wish and your reality world arent clashing. It might be great to want to seat eight but if your deck space only allows for four you can wish all you want but it wont happen.

When it comes to table choices you have plenty! There are some great looking glass tables on the market in a variety of sizes. Then there are some beautiful rattan pieces and lets not forget about the time honored traditional wood with a bit of a modern twist. And of course there are still the plastic tables but at least there are a few more options with these.
