I was hoping that the chunky movie will keep going with their story and now I just found out that they are starting it over by calling it child play again
Don't you think they should keep going with the story and stop starting the story all over again in some movies?
Like batman, they started over I do not know how many times. Now Chucky is starting all over again ggee
well, the new batman is much better and is actually different than the old ones and much more realistic. but chucky is a horror movie and well, the thing is that batman was done over again because the last ones were a bit bad and not so good. the new one are new and catchy and much better. the new batman series are also considered as CRIME movies. they were just meant to be better . but you are right. the horror movies like child's play don't need to be remaked or started all over again unless it is TOOO old like texas chainsaw massacre. the child's play series special effects are still great and worth watching and the only reason hollywood is remaking or starting all over again is that they don't have any more ideas.
i think hollywood in the future will hire asian horror movie directers and ask them to make horror movies for them.
umm small question

do you know for sure its a remake?
Batman Begins wasnt a remake
neither was Dark knight
but sometimes remakes help with a new generation
its like TRON.
were about to get TR2N but im hoping they still do TRON remake.
Remakes have become very popular and bankable. Friday the 13th has been Re-Made and others such as Nightmare on Elm Street and Poltergeist are rumoured to be re-made.
I personally think; in horror, they are running out of fresh ideas.
=D
This is just the way the movie business works. The writers can't think of any new ideas. So instead of really trying to think of something new they just redo older movies. Especially movies that were popular in the past because they know that people will go to see the remake because the old versions were good.
Because they don't have any original ideas anymore. They're either remakes, sequels, movies off tv shows, and comic books. And they won't read new writers, like me. It's all about favors in Hollywood.
