Cake Building Contest

Cupcakes
*
Icing
*
Sprinkles
*
Cake Decorations
*
Candles
*
Toothpicks

Candy
*
Plastic Tablecloths
To Play
*
This game could get a little messy, so lay down enough tablecloths to cover the table and floor.
*
First, make a lot of cupcakes in a variety of flavors, about 2 or 3-dozen depending on how many kids you have coming. Use store bought icing to save you time.
*
Gather the kids around the table and have them build a cake out of the cupcakes and other cake ingredients.
*
You can have a race to see who builds a cake the fastest or award prizes for the messiest, highest, or most creative. One suggestion is to make a cupcake-cake first so that the kids know how to build a cake.
*
Then once the game is over, the kids will enjoy their cake creations.
just go to www.google.com.au and type in fun games
or something. theres millions of ideas
I would do a dress up. Not little girl princess but something more glam. You could check the local Goodwill or Salvation Army for old prom dresses. You can also try www.freecycle.org to see if anyone has some fun stuff - break out the camera and let them do the red carpet walk. It sounds like a great party theme and I am sure the girls will have a blast.
They will find their own way.. Nine young women getting together at a party will just enjoy each others company dancing to the music and eating the goodies.. You have nothing to worry about...Just leave them to it...
I think bjoy's answer is real great. Getting old dresses that sparkle would be real neat for them, and I'm sure they'd love it. Have fun with a polaroid camera or something of the like that flashes (or even a digital camera), and have them pose on a red carpet, ect. It'll make them feel like stars and they'll never forget it (: You want to make it memorable for them :D
