| | I think the way a girl parts her hair has a tremendous effect on the over-all appearance of her face. I've never fully understood how to part my hair right, and I would like to know how. My hair reaches past my shoulders, and I have a round face. Since I have been asked before on here, yes, I am a girl. My hair has been parted to the left side of my face for quite some time now. Can anyone give me tips on how to part my hair so it can give me some more volume, or just make my face look better? With a large staff strike the water and watch it separate

parting on the side for a round face is better. even bangs can break it up. often your hair is already trained so needn't worry just let it go where it wants.
On the side
I have a round face too (kinda of chubby cheeks) and I part my hair on the left side.. I just get my hairbrush wet and run it through, then with my fingers kind of pry a straight line apart and brush it down on both sides. Honestly, if you have a round face, you don't want to emphasize the roundness with waves or curls around the cheeks. After I take a shower, I keep my head upside down and blowdry it out and brush it while upsdie down. I get tons of crazy volume, use my parting technique, and then smooth 2-3 layers including the top layer with a flatiron and especially around my face. Everyone knows you part your hair high on the side... any side. For more volume, you part it on the wrong side, and you may get a little lift. With long hair, you aren't going to get any volume. Long hair is NOT the thing to wear with a round face. WikiAnswers - What the best way to get nice curls in medium hair:: Best way to get curls in short hair? How do you make your hair hold curls? part it in the back rofl
Well, it's a personal choice, but with a round face, you'll probably want to avoid parting in the middle. If you've been parting to the left for some time, and you want more volume, you could switch the part to the right. I actually did that several years ago myself. Or another approach would be to comb your hair straight back when it's still wet and see where your 'natural' part is, as your hair will likely go to one side or the other as it dries, of course, since you have an established part, it may just go that way anyway. Play with it an have fun! Good luck!
with a comb
I have done this for years and so have all my sisters. part your hair down the middle then brush hair backwards this gives a nice but pretty look
