Published by: wktd 2008-11-19
Oracle Corp. Tuesday released new XML components for Java, C, C++ and PL/SQL. These new components access legacy information and transport it between business applications using XML.

Two of the new components announced Tuesday, Oracle XML Parser for C and Oracle XML Parser for C++, are in addition to Oracle's existing parsers for Java and PL/SQL. Like their predecessors, the C and C++ components support both Document Object Model and Simple API for XML interfaces and are deployed on the Oracle Application Server to access data in Oracle8 and Oracle8i databases.
